Simple!

 

To take your measurements, the tape measure should not be tightly held, but should be placed on the body.
If you don't have a tape measure, replace it with a string that you will measure later.
But no ... a handyman's tape measure won't do the trick! smile

  • For jackets
If you don't know your French jacket size, you just have to measure your chest size (n°2 on the sketch), divide it by 2 for example:

You have a chest size of 104cm :
104/2 = 52FR = your French jacket size !

Then choose your French jacket size
and we will send you the corresponding Austrian size. For example, if you order a French size 52, don't be surprised to receive the Austrian 50. The French size is then indicated in pencil next to the Austrian size.
Warning: for those of you who already have jackets from Steinbock or other Austrian or German suppliers in your closet, there's a mistake on the label: it shows the same Austrian and French size on the inside of the jacket. But only the Austrian size is correct, so you still have to convert it. For example: their Austrian 56 is not a French 56, but a French 58!
It's quite simple but if you are not sure, please contact us!
Size to order for the vest If you want it to be very tight, one size smaller than the vest may be welcome...

Measure your waist size (1 at the deepest part of the waist after breathing out normally) divide it by 2 and you will find your pant size to order...

To know the size of your jacket, dress, sweater or blouse: Take your measurements and refer to the size charts below. Girth = circumference

The tape measure should not be tight, but should be placed on the body:
1) Chest circumference: well horizontally at the level of the tip of the breasts
2) Under-chest circumference: well horizontally just below the breasts
3) Waist circumference: well horizontally at the deepest part of the waist after having exhaled normally
4) Hip circumference: well horizontally at the strongest part below the waist
